Beware the Change in Weather
Can you believe we recently had snow in the forecast? You know if we are wondering exactly what season it is, our bodies are really confused! We go from spending a lot of time outside to staying indoors in sealed up houses with hot air piping through the vents.I say all of that to remind you that it is very important to take care of our health this time of year. Make sure to stay hydrated. This helps keep your sinuses moist so they don’t dry out leading to respiratory issues. It’s also a good idea to run a humidifier in certain rooms in your house, especially bedrooms.Also take good care of your immune system. Start taking vitamin D, if you don’t already. You also might add in an immune booster such as Elderberry. And it’s more important now than ever to watch what we eat. We all know that during the holidays, sweets are all over the place. Remember, all of that sugar can suppress your immune system. And just because it’s cold outside, don’t let that exercise routine lapse. Grab a coat and take a walk during this cool weather, your body will thank you!Stay Healthy!
